The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cited Douce France Bakery, Inc. in Winter Garden for two violations following a Feb. 26 inspection, according to data on the FDA’s website.

Inspectors examined several aspects of the operation, including:

  • Food Composition, Standards, Labeling and Econ
  • Foodborne Biological Hazards

FDA records show the following citations were issued to the bakery:

  • ‘Your written process corrective action and verification procedures were not appropriate to significantly minimize or prevent the hazard requiring a preventive control.’
  • ‘Your written supply-chain program does not provide assurance that a hazard requiring a supply-chain-applied control has been significantly minimized or prevented.’

The FDA conducts regular inspections at facilities nationwide to verify that workplaces and their products comply with FDA-regulated laws designed to protect public health. The results are publicly available.
