The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) carried out an inspection of Stallion International Trade, Inc. in Palo Alto on Feb. 5 related to foodborne biological hazards, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.
The conclusive report found that Stallion International Trade, Inc. was advised to voluntarily take steps to correct the organization’s management practices.
The FDA performs regular inspections at facilities nationwide to evaluate whether work environments and different products comply with regulatory standards outlined to enhance public health. These inspection results are made available to the public.
According to its website, the FDA is a federal agency that oversees the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical supplies and tobacco products.
