The Food and Drug Administration conducted an inspection of Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers on Feb. 13 focused on blood and blood products, data on the FDA’s website show.
The final report stated that Lee Memorial Health System was not required to address any aspect of its management operations.
The FDA regularly inspects facilities throughout the United States to ensure workplaces and products comply with laws and regulations set to protect public health. The results of these inspections are made public.
