The Hershey Creamery Company facility in Nashua received an inspection from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on April 27, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.
Inspectors reviewed these categories during the visit:
- Food Composition, Standards, Labeling and Econ
- Foodborne Biological Hazards
The final inspection report found no actions were recommended by the FDA for any of the company’s management practices.
The FDA carries out facility inspections nationwide to evaluate whether workplaces and products comply with laws and regulations devised to enhance public health. The findings of those inspections are published publicly.
According to its website, the FDA is a government agency responsible for overseeing the manufacture and distribution of human and animal drugs, biological items, medical supplies, and tobacco products to ensure safety and quality.
