The Food and Drug Administration visited San Eli Feed Store in San Elizario on March 13 to monitor marketed animal drugs, feed and devices, according to data published on the FDA’s website.
The inspection’s final report found no need for the feed store to make any changes to its current management operations.
Across the country, the FDA regularly examines facilities to ensure both workplaces and their products adhere to FDA-regulated laws and standards designed to promote public health. The results of these inspections are made available to the public.
The agency’s website notes that the FDA is a government body chiefly tasked with regulating and overseeing the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical supplies and tobacco products.
