The Food and Drug Administration conducted an inspection of Animix, LLC in Juneau on Feb. 24 focused on oversight of marketed animal drugs, feed, and devices, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.
The final report found that Animix, LLC did not need to make any corrections to its management operations.
The FDA regularly inspects facilities nationwide to check that workplaces and their products meet FDA regulations established to enhance public health. The agency publishes the results of these inspections.
According to its website, the FDA is a federal agency responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and distribution of human and animal drugs, medical supplies, biological products, and tobacco products to ensure safety and quality.
