The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) visited Avania, LLC in Marlborough on Feb. 13 for a bioresearch monitoring inspection, according to data available on the FDA’s website.
The inspection’s final report showed that Avania, LLC was not required to address or change any management operations.
The FDA regularly inspects organizations throughout the U.S. to evaluate whether facilities and their products comply with laws and regulations established to promote public health. Results of these inspections are released publicly.
The agency’s website states that the FDA oversees the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical devices and tobacco products.
