The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) completed an inspection at Tuffy’s Pet Treats, Inc. in Delano on May 6 to review the monitoring of marketed animal drugs, feed and devices, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.
The final report showed that Tuffy’s Pet Treats, Inc. was not required to make corrections to any of its managing operations.
The FDA regularly inspects facilities nationwide to ensure workplaces and their products comply with FDA-regulated laws and regulations meant to promote public health. Inspection findings are shared publicly.
According to its website, the FDA is a federal agency tasked with overseeing the production and distribution of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical devices and tobacco products to ensure safety and quality.
