Former Winston Churchill High School standout Erik Rindner took the field with the Chicago Maroons on Sunday, March 15, at noon as they secured a 21-4 victory over the Rose-Hulman Fightin’ Engineers in NCAA Division III baseball action.
The game was hosted at Art Nehf Field and marked the teams’ third meeting this season. In their contest on Saturday, March 14, the Maroons claimed a 7-6 win over the Fightin’ Engineers.
Rindner contributed four hits across six at-bats, scored twice, tallied five runs batted in and had one strikeout.
The Maroons are set to play their next game against the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays at Lake Myrtle Park on Wednesday, March 18, at 10 a.m.
