Division III NCAA basketball tournament set to feature Alex Welch, former Sherwood High School player

Alex Welch, a former standout from Sherwood High School and now a guard for the Catholic Cardinals, is set to take part in the Division III NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The team will play their first game against the WestConn Wolves.

The tournament opener is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Cousens Gymnasium.
