Samuel Alexandre, a former Thomas S. Wootton High School star, and the Catholic Cardinals were defeated 74-60 by the Tufts Jumbos in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.

The teams faced off at 6 p.m. in Cousens Gymnasium, marking their first tournament meeting against Tufts.
