Asher Falk helps Yeshiva Maccabees advance in NCAA Division III with 71-69 victory

On Friday, March 6, Asher Falk, a former Melvin J Berman Hebrew Academy basketball standout, and his collegiate team, the Yeshiva Maccabees, edged out the Bates Bobcats 71-69 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup began at 1 p.m. inside Panzer Athletic Center and marked Yeshiva’s first tournament contest against the Bates Bobcats.

The Maccabees are set to play their next tournament game on Saturday, March 7 at 9 a.m. at the same venue.
