RESOLUTION Adopted :
JOSEPH CRAIG ENGLISH RECREATIONAL FIELD
WHEREAS Joseph Craig English has for more than 35 years generously con-tributed his artistic talents, his energy, and his devotion to the Town: and
WHEREAS he created the Town triathlon and SuperGrove award; has organized countless competitions and parades; and in so doing has contributed greatly to the good cheer and unity of the community: and
WHEREAS he has voluntarily provided the Town with hundreds of original silk-screened posters and T-shirts; and
WHEREAS he has portrayed the Town in much of his artwork, spotlighting its natural beauty and historic structures, thus making the community an attrac-tion for many other artists and visitors; and has also embodied the Town’s spirit through charitable appearances outside the Town:
THEREFORE NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the greenway portion of Woodward Park between Grove Road and Pine Road extended to Oak Street, and from Oak Street south to the softball backstop, henceforth shall be known as
JOSEPH CRAIG ENGLISH RECREATIONAL FIELD.
